Become a PEKiP group guide
With this certified training program, you will specialize in parent education for families with children in their first year of life and learn how to confidently lead PEKiP® groups in line with the method, standards, and setting.
Training Program Overview
Part 1 - PEKiP Basic Course
The basic course consists of 100 hours virtually presence sessions, usually spread over six to nine months, along with approximately 50 hours of self-study.
The course sessions typically take place during weekend blocks, with the following schedule: Fridays from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
During the basic course, participants will learn the theory, methodology, and didactics of the Prague Parent-Child Program (PEKiP). They will integrate their experiences, skills, and knowledge from their social-pedagogical background with the requirements of guiding a PEKiP group.
Key topics covered in the course include:
PEKiP play and movement stimuli in the first year of life
Developmental psychology fundamentals for the first year of life
Pedagogical action in an adult-child group
Promoting learning processes in both adults and children within a group
Part 2 - PEKiP Practical Reflection
Part 2 – PEKiP Practical Reflection
The basic course is followed by the PEKiP stages and practical reflection, totaling 25 hours over approximately nine months.
During this phase, participants lead their own PEKiP groups and are supported by a PEKiP trainer in small groups (5 meetings).
PEKiP Certificate
PEKiP Certificate
After successfully completing the training (basic course and practical reflection), participants will receive the PEKiP certificate.
By signing the usage agreement, certified PEKiP guides are authorized to use the legally protected brand name "PEKiP" and the PEKiP association logo free of charge for advertising their PEKiP group activities.
Fees
PEKiP Basic Course: € 1,750.00
PEKiP Practical Reflection: € 1,250.00
Participants will receive course materials and access to the media portal for PEKiP promotional materials. PEKiP guides can also advertise their PEKiP groups for free on the PEKiP e.V. website.
Invoicing
After registering for Part 1, the PEKiP® Basic Course, the invoice will be issued approximately four weeks before the course begins.
The invoice for Part 2 will also be issued after registration, approximately four weeks before the start of the second part, the PEKiP® Practice Reflection.

The name “PEKiP” and the PEKiP® word/logo mark are nationally and internationally registered trademarks, protected by the German Patent and Trademark Office. Use of the PEKiP® word/logo mark is therefore only permitted with authorization from the association.
To use the PEKiP® trademark (word/logo mark) for promoting your courses, you will receive a “simple usage license” from PEKiP e.V. The license agreement forms the contractual basis for this use.
The license fees are currently included in the training costs. By registering for the training, you acknowledge and accept the terms of use.
All certified PEKiP® group leaders can register their course locations and contact details free of charge on pekip.de, pekip.at, and pekip.ch, making them easily searchable for parents.
Legal Information, Right of Withdrawal, and Information on EU Online Dispute Resolution
By completing and submitting the registration form, your registration is binding. A confirmation and acceptance will be sent by PEKiP e.V. via email within the next business days.
The data will be stored by PEKiP e.V. for the duration of the training and beyond. At any time, you may request access to the data or its deletion after the completion of the training.
If there are errors in the form upon submission, they can be communicated and corrected at any time by emailing info@pekip.de.
The training will be conducted in English.
