Become a PEKiP Educator
With this certified training program, you will specialize in parent education for families with children in their first year of life and learn how to confidently educate PEKiP® groups in line with the method, standards, and setting.
Training Program Overview
Part 1 - PEKiP Basic Course
The PEKiP Basic Course consists of 100 hours of live online sessions, typically spread over six to nine months, along with approximately 50 hours of self-study.
The course sessions typically take place during weekend blocks, with the following schedule: Fridays from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All times are in Central European Time (CET).
During the Basic course, participants learn the theory, methodology, and didactics of the Prague Parent-Child Program (PEKiP). They integrate their personal experiences, skills, and professional background with the PEKiP standards and methods.
Key topics covered in the course include:
PEKiP play and movement activities for the first year of life.
Developmental psychology in infancy.
Pedagogical practice in parent-child groups.
Supporting learning processes in both adults and children within a group setting.
Part 2 - PEKiP Practical Reflection
Part 2 – PEKiP Practical Reflection
In the second stage of training, you begin leading your own PEKiP® Groups while receiving ongoing support and reflection in small groups. This combination of practice and guidance helps you grow into your role with confidence.
This stage of training totals 25 hours over approximately nine months (5 meetings).
PEKiP Certification
After successfully completing the training (basic course and practical reflection), participants receive the PEKiP certificate.
By signing the legal agreement, certified PEKiP-Educators are authorized to use the legally protected brand name "PEKiP" and the PEKiP association logo free of charge for promoting their PEKiP Groups.
Fees
PEKiP Basic Course: € 1,750.00
PEKiP Practical Reflection: € 1,250.00
Participants will receive course materials and access to the media portal for PEKiP promotional materials. PEKiP-Educator can also advertise their PEKiP groups for free on the PEKiP e.V. website.
Invoicing
After registering for Part 1, the PEKiP® Basic Course, the invoice will be issued approximately four weeks before the course begins.
The invoice for Part 2 will also be issued after registration, approximately four weeks before the start of the second part, the PEKiP® Practice Reflection.

Certification
Recognized Standards
- Quality assured in according with the Gütesiegelverbund Weiterbildung since 2013.
- The certificate is registered under no. 1607-182 with the Gütesiegelverbund Weiterbildung, Dortmund.
- We are a state-recognized educational institution in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
- The certified PEKiP® Educator training program has been officially recognized by the state of NRW since 2006.
- In addition, we are certified by Easy Feedback under the Trust Feedback process for customer satisfaction.

The name “PEKiP” and the PEKiP® word/logo mark are nationally and internationally registered trademarks, protected by the German Patent and Trademark Office. Use of the PEKiP® word/logo mark is therefore only permitted with authorization from the association.
To use the PEKiP® trademark (word/logo mark) for promoting your courses, you will receive a “simple usage license” from PEKiP e.V. The license agreement forms the contractual basis for this use.
The license fees are currently included in the training costs. By registering for the training, you acknowledge and accept the terms of use.
All certified PEKiP® Educators can register their course locations and contact details free of charge on pekip.net, pekip.de, pekip.at, and pekip.ch, making them easily searchable for parents.
Legal Information, Right of Withdrawal, and Information on EU Online Dispute Resolution
By completing and submitting the registration form, your registration is binding. A confirmation and acceptance will be sent by PEKiP e.V. via email within the next business days.
The data will be stored by PEKiP e.V. for the duration of the training and beyond. At any time, you may request access to the data or its deletion after the completion of the training.
If there are errors in the form upon submission, they can be communicated and corrected at any time by emailing info@pekip.de.
The training will be conducted in English.
